My event (Event Espresso – 3.1.36.4.P) requires payment, but not online. People who register can go through the whole process and provide prof of payment later.
However, one cannot navigate away from the “Payment Overview” screen without getting the error “Are you sure you want to leave this page? Warning!!! Using the back button will overwrite your existing registration.”
How can I set the event up so that payment is required later, but that one can navigate successfully away from the final registration (“Payment Overview”) page.
When I set the event as “Free” it works, as no “Payment Overview” page is shown.
I simply want to select an option for later payment, after registration, on receipt of payment confirmation. The attendant’s info can then be changed in the backend to “paid” instead of “pending”.

The warning is appearing because its in the middle of the transaction.
Could you try adding a gateway (WPadmin –> Event Espresso –> Payment Settings) such as check/money order and then call the payment gateway something like Complete Payment at a Later Date.
Thanks! I understand. I have made the change and it works.
Best regards
Louis
