WP-Members add on failed to activate.

I received the following error when I attempted to activate the WP-Members add on:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function event_espresso_run_install() in /var/www/vhosts/lancairowners.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/espresso-members/espresso-members.php on line 73

I’m using Event Espresso Version 3.1.36.4.P and Members add on Version 1.9.6

Any ideas where to start would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,

Could you login to your WordPress admin and delete the existing plugin?

Then download a new copy from your Event Espresso account and upload and activate through WordPress plugins.

Let me know if this helps with the issue.

I neglectedp to mention I am also using the WP-Members plug in for membership management. Is Event Espresso compatible with WP-Members?

Hi Mark, WP-Members hasn’t been tested to verify compatibility with Event Espresso, but the issue that you’re seeing is from trying to use an older version of the Members add on Version 1.9.6. You’ll need version 1.9.8.
