WordPress Event Espresso Page Template

On a basic install of ee version 3.1.25. Uploaded the page-event_list.php and created a page in wordpress using the espresso event as the template and [espresso_events] shortcode for content. Upon viewing the page the price and dates don’t come through. So I tried inserting the shortcodes found in the documentation in the template and that didn’t work either. Am i missing something?

Nevermind… I used the code found in registration_page_display.php. Worked like a charm
