I really can’t find any recent post about where I can customize the invoice? There are some small tweeks that are neccessary next to the “invoice payment settings”. Mainly translations. But also I want the tax to be apart from the total amount. So an amount without tax and underneath an amount tax and underneath that the total amount including tax. Where can I edit this?
For the most part, the translations can be added via the Payment Settings > Invoice page, as the text there is editable.
For something that isn’t changeable there, the invoice should be translatable via the language files. I do know there is an outstanding developer ticket on this though as we have had some issues recently with the invoice not translating correctly.
We are looking at improving the invoice template in future version of EE. Right now we have a gist available with an alternate invoice template that includes VAT (which can be edited to suit your countries needs). It is available here https://gist.github.com/jazzsequence/5120145 and needs to replace the template.php in the invoice gateway folder.
You can also add that code to a php file called template.php and add it to wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/invoice/ so that it does not get over written on updates.
It works off of the surcharge system, so add a percentile surcharge to the event and it will come up as VAT.
