We have had 2 people register for our event and accidentally enter an invalid email address. They of course do not receive an emailed ticket. What happens to the auto sent emails that would normally bounce back with an “un-deliverable” or “Delivery has failed” message? Is there a way for us to be notified of an invalid email?
Event Espresso doesn’t have email verification functionality. The registration form has some javascript that just makes sure it is in email format, but it does not verify whether the email address is valid.
I’m not sure whether Post Mark or Mandrill does email address verification, but we have an add-on that can be used for those services. It is in our Pre-Release channel. You are welcome to try it.
