Did I miss out on an update?  I had read that the new 3.2 would be released by end of March and now I am seeing there is a 4.0 beta available for download under the pre-release channel.  I have checked via search and I’m not hearing anything about the release of 3.2.  Is 3.2 being tabled?

3.2 was relabeled so it’s now 4.0. It’s still the same release. It was decided to go one full version number instead of a point version number because the core Event Espresso plugin was refactored almost from scratch.

and what is the expected release date for 4.0?   Soon I hope….

Hi,

There is a beta version in the pre release channel right now, which can be used for testing purposes.

We are working hard on getting the stable release out as soon as possible.

Please note that the Beta release is not compatible with the 3.1.X database and should not be installed on a site that has 3.1.X. Also it is not advisable to use it on a live, production site.
