Hello – Please help. Thank you.
Hi Melissa, No other issues have been reported where Event Espresso caused the entire site to go down (with the rare exception of when some outdated files were left in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates). I checked and the site loads up for me.
Hi Josh – | |
sorry my comment was unrelated.
| Hi Melissa, Do you have FTP access to the site? The first thing I would do is increase the WordPress Memory limit. You can follow: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP Basically you add a line of code to the wp-config.php file in WordPress’s root folder. Use either define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' ); or define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M' ); See if that fixes it. The above settings can be overridden by your hosts setup but is the first place to start. |
Hi Melissa, You can also check the error log while you’re FTP’ed in there. My guess is this is a server issue. If it were a case where something was coded wrong it would be down all the time, not intermittently.
