Event Espresso version: 3.1.15 Hello! I have the Volume Discount Add On installed but I’m getting the error that was listed as “resolved” back in October where I receive the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” error. I do not have the “Roles and Permissions” addon installed and therefore can’t disable it (which is the listed fix for this bug). When I try to download the corrected version of VD from the Forum link, I get a 404 error. Thoughts? I have a client who is trying to set up her Class schedule and this would be a wonderful solution for her needs. Thanks! |
Here is a link to the development version of the volume-discounts add-on. If you would like the current version, it should be available in the pre-release section of your account page. |

Hi Sidney, I downloaded the Volume Discounts Dev zip you provided and installed it on my WordPress site. When I click on “Settings” however, I’m still receiving the “You Do Not Have Sufficient Permissions to Access this Page” error. I also went to the Pre-Release section of my account and found the Event Espresso Volume Discount Add-on v0.4 that you referenced. Everything installs and activates fine but I get the same Permissions error when I click on settings. I currently have Event Espresso, MER and Volume Discounts installed but do NOT have the Roles and Permissions Add On installed. I am more than happy to spend some time troubleshooting this with someone from the Event Espresso team and will provide as much detail as necessary to resolve the issue. Thanks. |
That’s very odd. Can you send admin level login credentials to the site and ftp credentials to http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/. |

Hi Larissa, I don’t think we need the log in details. In order to use the Volume Discounts add on you will need to update to a more current version of Event Espresso. The volume discount add-on is not compatible with Event Espresso 3.1.15. |

Good morning, Thank you both for your responses–I updated my version of Event Espresso (had to do it manually because I too received an error saying that the file was too large when using the WP Plugin installer) and that resolved my Permission issue! I appreciate your time and advice, thanks again! |
