Hello, I’ve been searching all over in EE4 for the waiting list function and haven’t had a whole lot of luck. Any assistance would be really appreciated.

Hi Jerrid,

The wait list feature is currently available in Event Espresso 3.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is this a feature that will be added in the future to EE4? Also, is there a way to downgrade from EE4 to EE3?

A waitlist add-on for ee4 is something we are considering, but we cannot confirm anything at this time.

Yes, you can go back to Event Espresso 3 following these steps:

1) Deactivate Event Espresso 4
2) Re-install the Event Espresso 3 files if they were deleted
3) Restore your database to the point before you activated Event Espresso 4

If you didn’t make a database backup, or the backup will cause data loss because new posts have been added or something, you can go through the Event Espresso 3 shortcodes and Event Espresso 3 critical pages get re-set to what was there before. We outline how these need to be set up in the Event Espresso > General Settings > Page Settings and in this document:

Thanks for the reply. One last question, I can’t find a download for EE3, I even went so far as to try and purchase a new personal license for EE3 but I’m not able to. Any suggestions?
