Hey. I am trying to make a course calendar, and have difficulties choosing between eventespresso or eventbrite, but I have one important thing that matters: one of my clients who uses wordpress wants to make repeating events, that is part of a course. He wants the users to sign up for the whole course, that repeats for lets say every tuesday and thursday for 4 weeks, is this possible with event espresso, in case yes how?, and what license and add on do I need?
Yes, Event Espresso will allow you to create recurring events as you described. You will need the Recurring Events add on that is included in the Business License.
With Event Espresso and the Recurring Events Manager (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-recurring/) you have the choice to create individual events for each occurrence (which it does now), or you can have all the attendees register for just one event that everyone knows is scheduled for down the road. To do the latter just enter the alternate registration url of the first event in all the subsequent events so that everyone registers for the “first” event, but then all the subsequent events display on the calendar.
I know that’s kind of hard to explain, so let me know if it’s not clear.
