I’m in a situation where I need to provide a certain user the ability to send emails to all attendees for an event, but not give them any other information beyond that. What plugins/changes would I have to make in order to restrict a user’s role so this is all they could do? Is this even possible? Thanks for your time.

Hello Ryan,

You could use the Members, plugin by Justin Tadlock. One thing to note is that access to the Event Overview is required in order to send emails to all attendees, so the user will have access to edit the events, event if you limit their capabilities down to only event overview/attendee information.
