Before I put in Pro: I have been using the light version so have a few events setup, emails and attendees.

What is the correct upgrade procedure to ensure my data doesn’t get destroyed? Thanks in advance.

As long as you are upgrading from a recent version, you should be fine. However, it is always a good idea to back up your data.

Thanks. I am not sure of the correct upgrade procedure. Do I delete the lite and upload the pro (which I am concerned will destroy the data), or upload the pro version and it will pick up all the lite data? or is there an upgrade option somewhere? Thanks

Upgrading does not wipe out any data. You can find out how to update/upgrade/backup here: http://staging.eventespresso.com/support/documentation/
