Hi,
We’re currently performing an update for a client and we believe there’s been some custom development in their EE version (3.1.13.P)

I’d like to run a diff/merge on the original 3.1.13.P files to identify these changes and then apply them on a version which supports the WordPress plugin auto-update feature (perhaps 3.1.20.P?).

I’ve tried updating straight from 3.1.13.P to the latest version and I keep getting fatal errors so I assume doing it incrementally is the only way! Any other pointers are greatly appreciated!

Is there anywhere I can download these versions? Or can they be sent to me?

Thanks!

Sorry, it’s 3.1.15.P I’m trying to upgrade from, not 3.1.13.P

Thanks Sidney, could you mail me a copy of 3.1.20.P too please?

Hi dlakins,

3.1.20.P did not have the auto updates, I think it was around version .25 when the plugin update feature was added. The lite version of Event Espresso shares the same codebase as the paid version. If you need more versions to compare files with you can download them here:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/event-espresso-free/developers/

It might be a better strategy to do a diff with 3.1.13 files so you’ll know where the original changes were made.
