Changing the site in which the license key is active

We want to change the site name on which the event espresso license key is active. Currently it points to a demo site which we build to test.

Do we need to have a new licence key or can just change the name of the site keeping the same license key. We prefer the later if possible.

Any help will be appreciated.

I reset your license key to free it up from the demo site url. You’ll have to copy the new key and paste it into the general settings in EE on the new site. Once you update the general settings with the new key on the production site, your key will be tied to the production site.
