I can see the events in the iPhone app now. Thank you.
I can do so after uploading this to the root. I didn’t do it before because I didn`t see anywhere that it was necessary if you installed the plugin… If so maybe you should explain that “newbies-proof” somewhere… [embarrased ;)]
Hi Seth, one thing I love about one of EE’s competitors iphone app is the ability to ‘check in’ attendees without an internet connection. ie dload a list of attendees using the app then check them in while offline.
Is this something in the works? I find that using this over 3G is quite slow.
@Daniel does this other app update the user attendee records on the server? How does it handle multiple scanners? Like multiple people scanning tickets at the same time.
Seth, I’ve no idea as I dont use that functionality. I’d imagine for that side of things you’d need a connection to the server. However I think it’d be safe to make the assumption that not everyone needs multiple scanners.
For this one reason Im still using your competitors system for most my of my events, even though it’s costing me more.
We are rewriting the API to use a RESTful API as we speak. I can talk to the developers about downloading the entire event/attendee lists and see what they recommend.
