I searched for this but only see a post from a year ago on the old forum which involves a code edit. This seems like a bug? Does anyone know how to fix it?
http://www.freetorun.net The events are listed at the bottom of the page.
Thanks folks!

This is weird. The forum is showing 1 reply. I don’t see it.

Also, I am using version Version 3.1.27.1.P.

Hello,

This was fixed in version 2.0.3 of the Calendar add-on. You are on an outdated version of Event Espresso, so I assume the add-on needs updating as well. We recommend staying updated for bug fixes, security fixes, and feature updates.

Progress but no cigar yet. I have updated the Calendar and EE. The recurring event that is still open will not show in the upcoming events widget. The copied event does show OK. Whats the work around for that? Make copies instead of recurring events?

Hi,

Have you got the widget settings set correctly? http://d.pr/i/it3n

Ok! Now it appears to be working. The event does not take it self off the list until the day after it has happened, but I can live with that.
Thanks for the last post, Dean, that was the ticket. No pun intended.
