Hello,

My upcoming events widget was working, but in the last month has started displaying events in the past. Go here on the right side of the homepage to see what I mean: http://www.floglassblowing.ca – My screen shows events starting in March even though today it’s April.

I have tried switching WP themes, and disabling other plugins to no effect. I have verified the server time is set correctly. I am running the latest ver of EE and the latest ver of WP.

Any ideas?

Hello Melody,

Another user had a similar recently and I believe the issue was due to the event registration period extending beyond the event end period.

Can you check your events and clarify if its the same problem.

This can occur very easily if you are using the Recurring Event Manager to create events.

That’s very likely the problem. When I create recurring events, is there any way to have the registration start/end time change per event instance?

Hi Melody,

Right thats great that we know where it lies.

When creating recurring events, you can select this option http://d.pr/i/3fry so that the registration period is particular to each event, for example 1 week prior to the event starting.

It is based on the option just above that http://d.pr/i/aO7S which you will set for the first event in the series and the system will extrapolate the registration periods for the other events.
