This makes each day “cell” quite long and makes the user scroll quite a bit in order to see a whole month of events. I looked in the Calendar settings but could not find a control for the amount of white space.
Hey David,
We’ve been running some tests, and it looks like the problem is happening in Chrome, but not in Firefox. We’ll need ftp access to do some more investigating, if you can fill out the form here: http://staging.eventespresso.com/send-login-details/
I’m not sure how far Sidney got looking into this. You may find that if you temporarily switch to a different theme the space between events will go away.
Hi Josh…doesn’t seem to be a theme issue because the calendar display as it should in Firefox…but adds the undesirable spacing in Chrome and Safari! Sidney?
Ok, we’ve found and cleared the issue. The bug fix has been added to your site and to the 2.0.7 version of the calendar add-on that is under development. It is not in the 2.0.5 version, since that went out yesterday, or the 2.0.6 version, since that is in BETA, and there won’t be enough time before it is in full release to fully test the bug fix to make sure it doesn’t break anything else. So you may want to hold off on updating the calendar until the 2.0.7 version is released.
This is a case of seriously bad timing!!!! I had just hit “update” before reading your message. Literally – 60 seconds before!!! I had thought this update was meant for the fix :( Is there anyway you guys can take me back to my previous version!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????
I’ll put the fix into the version on your site. Not a problem. :)
