Trying to update from free version to licensed one

I have downloaded the event-espresso.zip file and have tried to install it. I originally tried before I removed event espresso lite. I have since removed it and tried he packages has been unpacking for over 30mins with no progress.

Any ideas?

Hi Adam,

The first thing to do is make sure the lite version has been deactivated, then deleted. If you’ve downloaded a fresh copy of Event Espresso from your account page, there are two installation options you can try. One is manually uploading the plugin files over FTP, or using the built-in WP plugin installer. Step by step instructions can be followed here:
