Translation doesn't work right EN DE

Hello,

I have some problems with translation in DE, in GlotPress the translation is correct but not in my site.

example: Add More Attendees? (click to toggle, limit 1)
This is translate in GlotPress

Also the bill how can I translate this and other points if GlotPress doesn’t work right on my site?

Hi Michael,

To translate that string you must translate the full string:

‘Add More Attendees? (click to toggle, limit %s)’

You could also use the guide here:

Using the mycustom_filter_gettext() function add

‘Add More Attendees? (click to toggle, limit %s)’ => ‘Translated text here? (click to toggle, limit %s)’

On line 8 above

// Add some more strings here

Hi Tony,

Thank you for this information, in my .po it is correct translated but it doesn’t work. You can see it here:

In my .po the complete invoice is translated, I also read your information “How to change wording” and I did this all. I can’t find my error?

Did you manage to translate ‘Add More Attendees? (click to toggle, limit %s)’ or is that still not working?

Regarding the invoice, there is a known issue in that the invoice sometimes will not translate. (We are looking into possible solutions)

I can advise you to edit the template directly in this case. If you copy the event-espresso/gateways/invoice folder to wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/

Then edit the file directly to suit your needs. This will ensure your translation is not replaced during updates.
