Hey guys,

I really want to use EE4 for a new project as it’s one of the most feature rich event management plugins for WordPress (even if EE4 is only in beta).

As the website I am working on is in German I need to translate EE4 via PoEdit to German. (Parts of it are already done but there is a lot of very important stuff still missing.) I already filled the form on the translation status site of EE4 but I also wanted to ask here in the forums.

I do have a couple of questions regarding the translation as well:

How can I translate the invoice template?
The date & time information in the event details view does not get translated even though I translated every month in the .po file. How can I do those parts?

Infos:

WordPress Version: 3.8.1
EE: 4 latest Beta
New installation
local only

Hi Benjamin,

The invoice template strings are translation ready. I checked and more than a few of them are already translated into German.

With the event details view, I sent a ticket over to one of the developers to look into why the Months aren’t translating. I’ll let you know what we find out.

Hey Josh,

is there any update on the issue with some strings and dates not translating correctly? I do need those things to be working and I can’t figure out where the php-template-file is for the archive or single event view. Maybe something is overwriting the translation in some way.
I did a screenshot of the problematic content.

I really hope we can figure this one out since I really like the plugin so far!

Hi Benjamin,

A lot of those strings in your screenshot aren’t translated in the German translation, they should be translation ready though.
