Transfer of site from development area

Hi, I’m just about to transfer my site from a development area on my own servers to the client’s servers.   I’ve not done this before – are there any points I should be aware of when transferring the Event Espresso files?

Hi Paul,

Copying over the files is fairly straightforward, it’s migrating the database that takes some care, because the database has settings that are pointing to your own server and will need to be changed.

I will typically use the WP DB migrate plugin to take care of changing the file paths correctly:

They have a pro version now that I’ve heard good things about too:
