Can someone simply explain the ticket process from purchase please?
I’ve run test transactions, and none of them receive an email with their ticket for the event, apart from the registration confirmation. How do attendees receive their ticket?
There is a shortcode that can be added to the registration confirmation and/or the payment confirmation email that will add a link to download tickets:
The payment confirmation email comes from Paypal?, and goes to the email that is associated with the paypal account. So how can I add a link to that email?
There is a payment confirmation email that Event Espresso sends when the Payment notification gets received from PayPal. There isn’t a way to add the ticket link to the email that gets sent from PayPal.
Well I currently haven’t seen an EE email about payment confirmation, only registration confirmation. That is understandable as I’m still trying to get the payments to complete.
Yes, when you get the payments to complete, that will fire the payment email. I followed up with your other post. There may be another plugin causing a conflict with the IPN notice, but it may also be how the PayPal account is configured.
