Hi there, I am using the JSON API on my iPhone for ticket scanning. However, I cannot always be present at every event, so I am looking for another solution. What I like about the Event Espresso HD app, is that it synchronizes with the ticketing service on my website. Now I am wondering, what would happen if I buy a barcode scanner to do the scanning? If it scans the tickets, what would happen with the information? Would it synchronize with the information on my website? And how would I be able to see if the ticket is valid or not? Thanks in advance! Lieneke
Currently Event Espresso does not integrate with any bar-code scanners, you will need to use the apps provided for either iPhone, iPad or Android services in order to check attendees in.
Hi Tony, thanks for your quick response. Good to know a bar-code scanner won’t work. However, on an Android phone the app does not work :( I am able to login, but then it just keeps on saying “loading, fetching events”. It does not come out of it and it never finds any events.. do you know what the problem might be?
