how do you restrict use of various tickets available for an event? Can you link promo codes to tickets if you have more than one ticket type available for an event? I don’t’ see anything like this in the new version… how do you restrict access to tickets for things like comps, etc?

I’m not sure I understand the question, when you create the Event you select which tickets apply to the datetime for that Event.

Currently Event Espresso 4 does not support Promo codes. If you need to use Promo codes on your events you will need to use Event Espresso 3.
When you create the Datetime for an event, you then create tickets, the tickets you create apply to a datetime. If you only have one datetime then the tickets apply to that datetime, if you have multiple datetimes you can select which tickets apply.
For example, here’s a single datetime event with all the created tickets assign to it (I also have archived tickets) – http://take.ms/UsZo1
Now heres a datetime with only the active ‘Free Ticket’ ticket selected -http://take.ms/ldnF3
Does that help?
