I did two test runs on my site. The first time it sent the confirmation email and another email with the ticket link. I went back and set Send Confirmation Email to “no” under general settings. I did another test and the confirmation email still went through but not the ticket email. Please advise
The system will send two emails, the registration confirmation and the payment confirmation.
If you set Send payment confirmation emails? to No, then only the registration email will be sent.
If you set Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received? to No, the registration email will still be sent, but only after a successful payment (free events will send it on registration completion).
Just to be sure that I am clear, the registration email has the ticket link? If so, it was never received although payment was made. I only received the confirmation email although this option is set to “no”.
Neither contain the ticket link by default it needs to be added in, here is a screenshot of the default emails http://d.pr/i/1CGH
You will always receive the Registration Confirmation email as a purchaser, the Payment Confirmation email can be stopped. The Admin will always receive a notification as well which cannot be stopped.
