Hi there,
I have two questions:
Is it possible to have a thumbnail image for each events in the event list page?
How can I make a short description for event in the event list page and full description for event page? I saw that you mention using “More…” tag. I am not a web developer and know nothing about this things, please help.

Hi Ted,

It’s possible to have automatic featured images on the event list, but it would require some customization of the event list templates. Template customization would be needed to add this feature.

One thing you could do (and this also helps with your other question): Upload and insert an image into the event description before the more tag. The image will be included with the short description.
Here’s how to get short descriptions working: In the Event Espresso>Template settings, enable short descriptions. Then when you edit/create an event, insert the more tag where you want the short description to end. It’s the [more] button in html mode. Here’s the button in visual mode:
