I’m sorry to start a new topic, but i read through the forum for 5 hours and i couldn’t find the exact same problem…
i had the lite version installed and upgraded to business today.
Now when i create a new event and place it in a portfolio item with a shortcode,
it tell’s me
“THIS EVENT HAS EXPIRED OR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE”
When i look up the main registration page of the event, there it is.
Why is it hidden when i place it with shortcodes?
the dates are correct (with headroom) and it says on the event overview that this event is open.
This is due to the Event Title containing characters with accents (which in turn are included within the Unique Identifier) the second shortcode uses the ID rather than Unique Identifier and therefor works.
For now I would suggest avoiding accents within the Event Title. We have a fix in the pipeline which we are currently testing.
ok, good to know!
thanks very much for your help!
Cheers,
Joel
