Things like SSL Certificate, or anything else that qualifies the site that I will be selling on as a trusted site?

We will be passing a lot of money through this site for a lot of expensive tickets, so I wanna make sure it looks as legit as possible.

You might think about a gateway where you can process on-site payments (instead of directing them to another website to make their payment).

We were planning to have it integrated with Paypal on our site. Are SSL Certs a necessity?

SSL certificates are a necessity if you are processing payments on your site. If you are using a payment gateway, like Paypal, that processes the payment on their site, then an SSL cert isn’t necessary.
