When I use the shortcode [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU] in my ‘Thank You and Return Payment page’ the page just shows the code [ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU] instead of some thank you message.
See my image for what it shows when I access the page (not the [ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS] code is correctly converted to blank because I just opened the page I didn’t perform a booking). http://i60.tinypic.com/14dj41e.jpg
Why isn’t the thank you shortcode being converted? This is my thank you page contents:
[ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS]
[ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU]
This also happens for the Registration Checkout page (I see the code) but it doesn’t happen for Registration Cancelled (its blank). Note I have set my EE General Settings to point to the correct pages.
What version of Event Espresso are you currently using? ESPRESSO_PAYMENTS is for EE3 while ESPRESSO_THANK_YOU is for EE4.
Are the pages published and publicly accessible?
