Tabs Plugins not working

I would like to use a tabs plugin  to format event information. WP UI (http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ui/). It works with the editor in posts and pages but the buttons are not loaded on the TiinyMCE toolbar in EE.

I tried entering the shortcodes directly into the editor but it seems the plugin is not being loaded and the tab shortcodes are displayed as text on the event page.

Is there a reas0n why the plugin is not being loaded when EE is active?

Hi Joe,

Unfortunately this is a know issue and something that can not easily be rectified in Event Espresso 3.1.X.

Going forward from 4.0 we have coded the plugin in such a way that this should br reduced. I tested that plugin out on a Bet of 4.0 and though the icon didnt load on the events (they are probably targeting Post and Page not a custom post type) the shortcodes worked fine.

Thanks Joe. I found a tabs plugin that works. It doesn’t have buttons on the editor toolbar but I will look at seeing if I can add some myself.

Thanks for letting us know about that and sorry it meant you had to swap plugins. As mentioned we are looking to make this less of an issue going forward.
