I noticed that the required pages that EventEspresso creates by default (the Event Page, the Payment Thank  You page, the Transaction Notification Page, and the Cancel Return Page) break if you change their Page Attributes away from the default of No Parent.

I think for the sake of keeping my pages organized, I should be able to place these pages underneath a master Events page, but when I do that, the system breaks.

Also, when deleting the EE plugin altogether, and then re-installing and re-activating it, these pages do not get recreated-even when I manually deleted them.  This makes getting a fresh start problematic.

Hi Jon,

The parent pages is an interesting issue, one I havent come across before.

I will certainly add it to our request list to see if it can be resolved in future versions.

The default pages will get recreated but you need to go to the General Settings page and save the options. If they dont exist the plugin will create them.
