Hello, we are using event espresso with Stripe as the merchant services, and we have had a few customers who have been charged twice for their event ticket (Stripe get’s two identical requests from event espresso), but they are only registered once by event espresso.

Does anyone have an idea of why this is happening? And a solution for it?

Thanks!

Hi Ramon,

The problem may be that the customer is clicking the payment button twice after they fill out their credit card info.

One thing that may help is to add some text to the template page that displays the credit card forms that warns them to only click the payment button once. If they click it more than once their credit card may be charged again.
