It would be nice to have an option to stop emails being sent to the admin for every registration confirmation.

Is there a good custom way of doing it for the time being?

We have a high volume of registrations and we don’t have any use for the notification email.

Hi Daniel,

The emails do not necessarily need to go the admin. They’ll go to the email address set as the primary contact set in Event Espresso>General settings. You can change the email address set there to another address so they do not get sent to the admin.

Yeah, I have a filter set to archive them automatically but it’d be nice if you could turn them off. They add up and create additional costs when you use a third-party to send transactional emails.

It would require hacking core, but all that’s done in the /includes/functions/email.php. But I wouldn’t recommend hacking core if you can help it.
