The ‘Paypal Pro’ shows on the payment settings page but not the standard paypal.
I tried deactivating and re-activating another option but still no standard Paypal showing up.
It is picking up some paypal settings from the previous version of Espresso I used but now it is not picking up the amount to pay, so I thought there must be something wrong with the settings.
(I put a similar post in what I now realise is a topic marked “resolved” so thought I should start a new topic)
Let me clarify. PayPal standard will put a button on the confirmation page that will link them to PayPal to make a payment and then after payment clients are referred back to your website. With PayPal Pro the payments are handled on your website without sending users to PayPal.
Is it the button on the payment/confirmation page or the gateway options that are not showing up?
The gateway options under “Manage Payment Gateways” does not show the standard paypal.
The paypal button does appear on the payment page but it appears at the top of the page and (1) I cannot put text to explain that it should be clicked to play and (2) when clicked the paypal web page comes up but the amount to pay is shown as 0.
I am using 3.1.25.P
I do not see the “Paypal settings” in the “Manage Payment Gateways” page so I cannot get tho the screen you show.
Previously I used 3.0.17.b.25
Sounds like you may have some old gateways in the “wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways” directory on your server. You will need to remove or rename that directory in order to use the latest versions of Event Espresso.
I have the same problem as David, there are no old gateways but still I do not get the Standard Paypal option under the Payment Gateway settings since upgrading from 3.1.15 to 3.1.26, I had to go back to 3.15 to use the standard PayPal gateway.
