Hi there,
I’m experimenting with the staff manager function for the first time.
I’m managed to create 2 staff profiles so far, and assign those staff to several of my events, but I am attempting to use the shortcode [EVENT_LIST staff=”1″] to create a list of the events run by each staff.
It doesn’t seem to be working correctly – rather than giving me a list of events that I have assigned to that staff, it seems to give me a list of all of our upcoming events. Not sure what I am doing wrong here as I’ve double-checked everything and have tried a few different things.
Here are two examples:
– used shortcode: [EVENT_LIST staff=”1″] (#1 has about 5 events assigned to her so far)
http://www.themakeden.com/sample-page/teachers/linda-varekamp
– used shortcode: [EVENT_LIST staff=”2″] (#2 only has one event assigned to her so far)
http://www.themakeden.com/sample-page/teachers/cat-essiambre
As you can see the lists are identical, and contain a very large lists of events (more than one teacher could lead!)

FYI, I’m using wordpress v 3.6.1, EE v 3.1.35.1.P, and addons (calendar, permissions, recurring events, social coupons, ticketing and voucher import – all up to date)

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

My apologies, it is an error in the documentation (now fixed). The parameter is not staff=”1″, but rather staff_id=”1″.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Hi Dean, thanks for getting back to me!
I got this to work, but without the “quotes”
ie, the proper shortcode is [EVENT_LIST staff_id=1]
Thanks! – L
