I want to use the Authorize.net AIM method with my existing Authorize.net account. Before I purchase the SSL Cert, I want to know if it matters what type of certificate I get. I was thinking about the simple domain validation SSL Certificate from RapidSSL or Essential SSL, which can be purchased thru http://www.ssls.com.

Hi Laura,

The brand of the SSL isn’t important. You’ll just want to make sure that you are using a dedicated SSL and not a shared SSL or a proxy SSL.

I use RapidSSL for a personal WordPress project and it has worked out very well.
