I’d like to create few calendars for events of one venue each. How can I make this? I know, there is shortcode for categories of events, but I’d like to make it without using categories, but venue ID instead.
I know you said you don’t want to use categories, but the most efficient way of doing this would be to add a category for each venue, then add the category in the event overview settings. You then could use the shortcode [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id="your_venue_category_identifier"].
Is there a reason you do not want to use categories?
That I know of, there isn’t an ESPRESSO_CALENDAR shortcode that (other than the example above) can be used to display only a single venue.
Well, the reason is: I don’t want to overload categories too much, but it’s ok. I just wanted to know, is there any other way to do it. Thx for answer.
@Jonathan Wilson
I know that it won’t harm to site performance. I mean, if there’re too many categories, it becomes harder to find category that you want in a huge list of all categories.
@Seth Shoultes
That would be great.
