I currently have the option to register/checkout groups of 8 or more. There is a requirement for a $100 deposit for this type of registration.

I would like to explain to the user that they should pay the remaining balance at the time of the tour. I cant fit these instructions on the current line item. Is there a place to add special instructions for something like this?

Hello Lonnie,

If you go to Payment Settings > Cheque/Money Order you will see several input fields that you can change including one that is called special instructions. You could add the information there.

Thank you for your response. I’m actually looking for a way to customize the page I land on in paypal. I have an option to pay with paypal or pay with credit card. I’d like to default to the pay with credit card. This is a different link in paypal. I’m assuming I cant control that with Event Expresso.

Please disregard that comment, it was for a different ticket. We will no allow them to pay with check or money order prior. They only have the option to pay with credit card. I just want to give these instructions because there will be a balance.

Hi Lonnie,

If the gateway is inactive, then the only way to add info to that page is to edit the templates/payment_overview.php template.

Thank you. I am using PayPal and I’m directed there. I want it to show here: http://www.yborghosttour.com/event-registration/?regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

Any ideas where it could go?

For that section it would need to go in the templates/shopping_cart.php template file.
