Hi,

I would like to add a list of events sorted by speaker. I know we could use shortcodes to list events of different speakers on posts, but how do I list them on my widget? Thanks.

Hi,

If you mean the upcoming events widget, it doesn’t allow filtering by staff/speakers.

It is possible to use shortcodes in widget ready areas, but you would need to add a line of code to your functions.php file (in the theme) – http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-use-shortcodes-in-your-wordpress-sidebar-widgets/
