Some emails to registrants only show one ticket link

Hey there,

We’ve got an issue where some of the tickets being emailed out to the registrants are only showing one ticket link, rather than both. For example, we had someone register two people for one event, but rather than receiving an email with links to both tickets, only one email was received. This appears to be fairly intermittent.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

If you have it set up to collect email addresses the additional attendee, then it should send out an email to each one. Have them check the spam folder. Sometimes the confirmation emails get flagged as spam, depending on the email provider.

Thanks for your reply, Sidney.

In the past two years, we’ve had the exact same setup, where we ask for the emails of all attendees. The tickets were always successfully sent out on the one email.

Here’s the thing, when someone first registers, they sometimes only receive one ticket link, but if we resend their tickets to them from the wp backend, they receive all the ticket links in the email.

Thoughts?

Hi Todd,

Can you let us know what the version numbers of Event Espresso and the ticketing add-on you have installed so we can look into this further? Thanks.

We’re using Event Espresso 3.1.35.P, Multiple Event Registration 1.0.4, and Ticketing add-on 2.0.10.2.p.

We did have another person register 4 people for one event earlier today, and the primary registrant received the email with 2 of the 4 ticket links. Seems like a bug.

I can confirm something isn’t right here. Standard registration the primary attendee gets a list of all the tickets, additional attendees only get theirs, which is the correct behaviour.

With Multiple Event Registration though, the primary attendee only received their own link.

So I am not seeing exactly what you are but there is something that needs investigation.

I have raised a ticket to look into this further.
