I have found a little problem with EE & social sharing. I do NOT want to use your social sharing plugin ‘cos it is limited (3 networks).

The problem is that ALL your events share a similar URL: http://www.qualitylife.co.za/event-registration/
All that changes is the ?ee=x part on the end.

So when Facebook checks the URL, to pull the info, it pulls the info from your next upcoming event. The URL it posts on FB is correct & does open the correct registration page. It is just not pulling the correct information.

To see what I mean, go to the URL above, then open the 2nd or 3rd event and click the FB share button. You will notice that it pulls info from the first upcoming event listed on the URL above.

I tried sharing the full URL but got the same result.

Is there some simple solution here to get FB to pull the correct event information.

Hi Doug,

We are working on pretty permalinks for version 3.2, and I believe that will fix this problem, but in the meantime, have you tried using the [SINGLEEVENT single_event_id="your_event_identifier"] in a page and try sharing that page?
