| August 31, 2012 at 3:43 pm We discovered a small issue when adding attendees manually via the back end. If we include a $ symbol with the amount paid, the system seems to reject the amount paid without any feedback and as a result, a confirmation email is sent to the attendee where the [cost] shortcode is replaced with $0. Obviously we won’t include the $ in the price going forward, but perhaps one of the following could be done to prevent potential miscommunication with customers:
- Add a little note beside the field saying “Do NOT include $” and/or
add basic field validation to say the field can only contain numeric
values
- Add field validation of some kind to parse out valid currency
symbols etc. This is not urgent, but it would be one less thing for people to worry about. :) |
