Hi Lee,

Please try this shortcode:

[ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=”995″]

Hi Lorenzo,
we tried both options.
the page in question is britanniaclassic.com.
It’s a 1 page template. if you click signup you scroll to the page where I want to display the code.

As you can see in this image I use both codes in my page.
See http://imgur.com/vZJxVao

This is the output: http://imgur.com/5vBhMpg

The first code shows nothing, the second doesn’t get parsed, so I’m a bit stumped of where to look next…

This all says ok: http://imgur.com/ifjID9E

As you can see there is only one event: http://imgur.com/i9xRUsM

It has been migrated from EE3 free, so it wasn’t a clean install. Maybe something could have gone wrong there ?

I just did some playing/digging around.
The site is set to a static front page, yet there is no page.php only an index.php (the template is old and outdated and even removed from WP’s directory).

I created a page-registration.php to output the page content on its own page, see http://britanniaclassic.com/registration/

It works there, but not on the frontpage.

As you can see [SINGLEEVENT single_event_id=’995′] is not working there…

I took the logged in part out, so it’s visible for all….

Hi Lee,

The reason that the [SINGLEEVENT] shortcode does not work is because [SINGLEEVENT] is not a valid ee4 shortcode. The closest equivalent is [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR].

ok but that doesn’t work as you can see.

I can’t edit my previous post, but it seems to work now on the frontpage.

Work as in gets listed, but we can’t list it there since that’s not a page file but index.php.

So I created a new page for it http://britanniaclassic.com/register-2014/
but I can’t seem to finalize registration.

It won’t let me click.

I created a free ticket to test but it’s not working so far.

Plz advise.

Also newly created question groups/questions don’t appear in the form.

Plz suggest what to do…

questions/groups have been solved in the meanwhile.

On http://britanniaclassic.com/riders-list/ I try to create a list of attendees.

But the code doesn’t get parsed there either… Am I missing something ?

Hi Lee, some of the shortcodes that you are trying to use are not shortcodes for Event Espresso 4.

Could you please take a look at the shortcodes page in WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> Help & Support?

Then could you let us know what the remaining issues are?

Cheers

Lorenzo

I took them from http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/

The page in the plugin shows only 3 shortcodes. Does that mean there’s no public attendees list ?

Hi Lee,

The page that you shared is for Event Espresso 3. There is no attendee list for EE4 at this time.

That sucks hard… I thought when I’ld buy ee4 it’s a step forward as mentioned in your own description since ee3 will be phased out….

now I’ve created a new page for the registration http://britanniaclassic.com/register-2014/

but on the homepage I keep getting this error (http://imgur.com/q5Q09rW) and I don’t understand why since there’s no shortcode or what so ever on that page.

Just a link to the registration page (under sign up).

I have hidden the error from home by css.

<code>
.home #espresso-notices,
.home #espresso-notices-error,
.home .espresso-notices {
	display: none;
}
</code>

Keep in mind that EE4 is in beta which means that its a work in progress.
