Hello. My company is evaluating your software to see if it will fit our client’s needs, perhaps you can answer a question for me:

We require the ability to have multiple occurrences of the same event, ie a single “Course” of which students can select one of several dates to register for. I see from the demo that recurring events are possible but I want to confirm whether these can be displayed on a single page. Within the demo each recurrence is a unique event with its own registration page. However we require a single “Course” page, with the particular date being selectable (either via radio button or select menu).

I have seen hints in forums that this is possible with a template which comes with the Recurring Event Manager Addon, but nothing official in any documentation. Can you please confirm whether this is or is not possible.

FYI: If this requires some level of template customization, this is acceptable.

Thanks

Garth

Hi VIUS,

How are you today?

Your request is a matter of design or templating decisions which are accessible for customization. Here is an example of what I mean by using the custom files available in the Custom Files addon (http://staging.eventespresso.com/product/espresso-custom-files/): http://staging.eventespresso.com/wiki/drop-down-list-recurring-events/ (http://www.screencast.com/t/0hsdX1aeVj)

Does that make sense? I don’t know of anything that will prohibit you from modifying the front-end templates.
