Showing recurring events in Widget

Hello, I have a recurring event that’s showing in my widget. One of the events has expired. How do I keep the expired, recurring event from showing in widget?? Thanks for your response and here’s my page http://www.compasscac.com/ so that you can see how this appears on the right side.

It looks like you can still register for the Nov 3rd event, so the widget will display it because the way it checks for whether an event is expired is if the registration end date has passed or not.

If you go in and adjust the recurring event’s registration start/end dates that should fix it.
