When users sign up for a waiting list event, I’d like to display a message showing them where they are in the list.

I don’t think I need any help writing the PHP/SQL to do this. Given an event_id and registration_id it’s not hard to figure out what position in a list a user has.

Where I need help is: how do I customize the payment details page? It doesn’t seem to be part of the custom files templates.

Thanks in advance
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

This is part of the core templates in event-espresso/templates.

Copy the payment_overview.php and the payment_page.php over to uploads/espresso/templates and edit the files there.

Note: when EE updates the template files may change and you will need to update any amended files accordingly.

Thanks, that was exactly what I needed to know. I was able to successfully show the user their waiting lis position.
