Show Venue City/State in Calendar square (not in tooltip)

Hi,
By default the event title and time are displayed on the calendar. I would like the venue city and state to also show there. I know that other people who have asked this question have been directed to another forum post where someone was given instructions for how to display the venue info in the tooltip, but I would like it to display right in the calendar square, under the event title but above the event time. Can someone give me direction on where/how I can make this code change? Thank you!

Hi,

The information in the calendar square is added by the javascript that controls the calendar data, this is found in the core calendar file espresso-calendar.php

I would suggest adding data around line 636 where the date info is added.

However you will also need to pull in the venue data, probably via an SQL or perhaps a shortcode, prior to to this and add that info to the event object as venue data isn’t provided by default.
