Show Single Event -> Next Upcoming Event

Seems like a lot of folks are using the upcoming widget for this, but we only want to show a single event title and link (not all details), whatever is coming up next, on the front page at the top – without looking up the id. Any thoughts on how to proceed?

Hi Robert,

Do you want to use the widget to display this single event title or display it some other way?

If using the widget you can modify the template fairly easily to achieve what you need.
