Is it possible to either use a shortcode inside a DOM element or to somehow pull into a DOM element just the Upcoming Date & Time for a single event ID..?

Hi Matthew,

What exactly are you trying to achieve and with which version of Event Espresso?

To try and answer your query in very general terms:

If you are using PHP to insert it, then you can use the do_shortcode function – http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/do_shortcode

If you are trying to achieve this with JavaScript, then you would be looking at doing AJAX, to call a PHP function (that will probably use do_shortcode) to pull in the right data.
